WHAT IS FONDUST?

FONDUST® is a fantastic coloring product for pastry chefs! It is the only water-soluble
color that can be used directly in food.

Easy to use, FONDUST is a microencapsulated food coloring especially designed for coloring food with very low water content. It can be used to color fondant, sugar work (before or after baking), almond paste, royal icing, buttercream, cake mix, macaroons, decorating gel, candy, etc. Practically everything . . . except pure chocolate. With FONDUST, you can achieve very dark colors, like black, red, blue and brown, as well as very bright colors, such as orange, green, pink, and violet. Each jar allows you to do light shades too.

Fondust is made with FDA/EU approved food dyes that have been micro-encapsulated into a fine powder. This is what makes the colors so vibrant, concentrated, and easy to use in fondant, buttercream, royal icing, chocolate, sugar work, and more.

While it does contain synthetic food dyes, Fondust is:

⚪ The only exception is Bright White, which contains titanium dioxide (E171).
